Dr. Muñiz has been involved in research and publications. In 2003 he coauthored the article “Treatment Considerations for Comminuted Mandibular Fractures”, considered to be an important paper on the treatment algorithm of this kind of facial fractures.
Dr. Muñiz is a fellow member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and is certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
